Mr. Manwar Hossain is the Group Managing Director of Anwar Group. After having completed BBA & MBA from University of New Hampshire, USA in 1993, he joined the family conglomerate – Anwar Group of Industries during 1994. His Business skill & entrepreneurial spirit has fetched him greater responsibilities to lead the conglomerate as its Managing Director under the umbrella of his dynamic father Al-haj Anwar Hossain. The group comprises of several manufacturing industries including A One Polymer Ltd., Anwar Landmark Ltd., AG Automobiles Ltd., Anwar Ispat Ltd., Anwar Silk Mills Ltd. His contribution in banking and Financial Institution is also noteworthy. As former Director of the City Bank Ltd. he has made substantial contribution to the growth of the Bank. He was elected as the youngest Vice Chairman in Banking Sector in the Board of City Bank Ltd. in 1999 – 2000. BD Finance is also benefited quite well by his conscientious and pragmatic decisions. He is the President of Bangladesh Auto Re-Rolling & Still Mills Association, First Vice-President of Bangladesh Cement Manufacturer Association and Honourable member of Dhaka Club, Kurmitula Golf Club, Army Golf Club, American Alumnae and FBCCI.

Mr. Md. Asaduzzaman Khan

Mr. Md. Asaduzzaman Khan is a professional with more than 43 years experience with Central Bank, Commercial Bank, financial institutions as well as with credit rating agency in the areas of policy formulation, operation and supervision of banks and non-banks, risk management, treasury operations, human resources management and training, problem bank resolution, accounting policies and practices, internal control and audit etc. At present Mr. Khan is working with CRISL, a leading Credit Rating Agency of the country. He played the role of Managing Director at IIDFC Ltd. for a long period (From 21 July 2008 to 31 January 2018). Prior to that he served as the Managing Director / Administrator at the Oriental Bank Ltd. He was an Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank where he played significant role in various department like Bank Regulation and Policy Department (BRPD), Foreign Exchange Inspection and Vigilance Department and Money Laundering Prevention Department. He attended many professional training programs in home and abroad during his more than four decades of banking-based career.

Mr. Geasuddin Ahmed

Mr. Geasuddin Ahmed, a science graduate, is Chairman of British American International School, Managing Director of Dhaka Complex (Pvt.) Ltd., Buy & Sale Trading Company Ltd., proprietor of Mamata Enterprise and also associated with number of socio-cultural organizations. He is the past Director of The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry and former Secretary General of Dhaka Metropolitan Film Exhibitors. Mr. Ahmed is a third generation businessman from a traditional business family. His father Late Mohammad Hossain started his business at Adamjee Nagar, Narayanganj in 1953 and was engaged in trading of yarn, coal and in wholesale business. His grand father Late Sheikh Mohiuddin was involved in agro product trading business at Bikrampur in early 1900s.

Mr. Md. Rokonuzzaman, FCA is serving as Managing Director at a German based multinational company, Amann Bangladesh Limited. Amann Bangladesh is a member of Amann Group, Germany, one of the largest textile groups in the world. Amann has subsidiaries in 21 countries, agencies in 89 countries and the products are marketed in over 100 countries. Mr. Rokon is a qualified Chartered Accountant having wider experience in working with different local and multinational companies like PRAN-RFL Group, Coats Bangladesh Limited, Robi Axiata Limited etc. Finally, he joined Amann Bangladesh as Finance Director & Company Secretary to take up the challenge to set-up a business from a green field. He took over the responsibility as Managing Director of Amann Bangladesh in October 2016 and became one of the youngest CEOs working in an MNC in Bangladesh. His dynamic leadership has helped the Company to position a strong foothold in the Sewing Threads Industry in Bangladesh in a very short period.

Md. Abul Quasem

Mr. Abul Quasem completed his B.S.S. (Hons.) in Economics and M.S.S. in Economics respectively in 1973 and 1974 from University of Dhaka. He joined Bangladesh Bank as an Assistant Director in 1976. He was appointed as the Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank twice. During that period he performed his responsibilities in many departments like Currency Management and Payment System, Accounts & Budgeting, Debt Management, Special Studies Cell, SME & Special Programs, Printing and Publications, Common Services, Investment Promotion & Financing Facility Project cell, Expenditure Management, Research, Statistics, Law, Monetary Policy etc. During his long tenure (about 40 years) of working in Bangladesh Bank he attended many domestic/foreign trainings and seminars in different international organizations in various countries around the globe.
